This sub-committee organises short courses on various soft skill topics, aimed at improving communication skills of
 engineers. Its focus also includes engineering fundamentals for young engineers, with support from the Technical
 Divisions within IEM.

Among the activities held are as follows:

               2004:

• Two-day short course on principles and design of electrical system in buildings & One-day short course on planning and operation of high tension distribution network. - (2-4 December 2004)

• Two Days Course on “Primavera Project Management Module - (6-7 November 2004)

• Meet the Technical Division - 28th October 2004

• Visit to Country Heights, Damansara - 16th October 2004
